Mary Pyrgos, President of FIMONOI Foundation, met Mr. Karagiorgis   the Director of the Department of Statistics, and the officials of the Department of Statistics, to discuss the role of all inclusive-data in the planning and the preparation of more effective budgets. This is important because it will ensure that public funds will address the needs of all the citizens in a more just way and will accelerate inclusive and sustainable growth. Furthermore, the incorporation of gender budgeting in the governmental budget, will increase efficiency, transparency, good governance and will combat corruption. We thank the Department of Statistics for their help, in providing us the necessary information so that we can continue our campaign for the incorporation of gender budget in the government budget.
